Sorry its been awhile folks since my last post, but I have been busy working on all kinds of new projects and crafts for Christmas. I will have a great one to show tomorrow hopefully if I can get my camera back from my hubby who is hogging it!! I am in dire need of an SLR camera but cannot seem to justify shelling out $1500.00 for it with things hanging on the edge these days.

I am doing well but since retail is not I am worried about next year, but as always I will find ways to bring in the funds. I finally have been working on getting the Etsy shop up over the weekend, but since I am not tech inclined its taking allot of time.

When I went to see which Paypal account to get my head started to spin!!! I cannot wrap my brain around the severe business side of things so that's where I ask hubby to step in and hopefully after work tonight he can do it for me.

Okay so its back to work and taking care of things, (by the way my office is such a mess you cannot believe it!) I wish I had a cleanup fairy, anyone???

New Print

Hello all, sorry its been awhile since my last post, things have been a little crazy around here. I have a new print to show that is part of a new collection of designs I created using this new sketchy style. I have several different color ways and each day I come up with a new one I like even more. I am having a hard time getting to work today since my morning shift hubby is off in Florida celebrating his grandma's 99th bday! Yes you heard me right 99!!! What an accomplishment if I do say so and Flo is quite an amazing person. I decided not to go with the kids because of school and such, its just too much to have all of us go and when she hits the big 100th next year we will be sure to go then.

I do not know about you, but the news each day just seems to be getting worse and I am hoping my business can ride this economy storm that is upon us. We have downsized allot to prepare incase this happens, but I am crossing my fingers to say the least. How are you riding this storm these days and have you felt a little scared as I do? This is the time when you have to break out all of your bag of tricks to stay afloat and hope it pays off in the end. I am sending out lots of prayers and wishes for all of us who rely on manufacturers to stay afloat, cheer up we will get back to our old selves before you know it!!

Okay since I am alone this week this will be my last post until Monday so have a great weekend all and " always look on the bright side of life!"- Monty Python ( my fav!)

New Print -Frida Girl

Having fun with collage again and this one I did about a month ago but forgot to scan it in until now. So yes she looks like Frida Kahlo a bit but I will just call her Frida Girl instead. I had some fun with this one and it was a stretch to use purple since I am not a big purple fan, but I think the overall result came out well.

I am doing some more fun collages and with the help of my hubby with have them up soon for all to see. Yes I know I planned to have my Etsy site up this week, but once again life has gotten in the way. I guess I will have to work overtime this weekend to put at least a few things up. There just never seems to be enough time in the day to do all that I need without my house becoming a complete and udder mess. With that said I am going to have to finish putting the rest of the Halloween decor away and clean up the house today!

HISTORY!!!!!

Get out the firecrackers and celebrate we made HISTORY last night by electing Barack Obama as president! I am very tired today and have a little headache from celebrating, but never in my life have I been more proud to be an American! I along side my husband couldn't wait to take our kids with us to vote for Obama and they were soo happy to see the paper this morning with the title" Historic Victory" on it.

To all Americans stand proud today this is an amazing day!!!
